To expand on this compelling image of Napoleon as the 'Yellow Tiger'.
The Yellow Tiger symbolises royalty, cruelty and strength.
As mentioned above, to the Chinese the Yellow Tiger is the Centre, the Sun and the Ruler.
The Tiger; Native of Asia and formerly of ancient Hyrcania, a district of Persia - the land of Zarathustra! Said to be the root of the name of the River Tigris.
To 'ride a tiger' is to encounter and confront dangerous elemental forces - 'live dangerously'! [see also Julius Evola's book called 'Riding the Tiger'].
To the Aryan Hindus the Tiger was the emblem of the Warrior Caste [the Kshatriyas] - of course!
In Shamanism it denotes Superhuman powers - no comment necessary!
In Heraldry, the Tigre or Tyger represents fierceness and strength - Blake's spelling; 'Tyger Tyger burning bright'!
Amongst the Greeks Tigers drew the chariot of Dionysos - ah!
Napoleon, Zarathustra, the Aryan Warrior, the Ruler, Dionysos - the Ubermensch!
Just as I thought.
